First and foremost, we make every effort to have happy riders (customers) on the BTC so we monitor the forums to make sure we are doing are best to make the BTC enjoyable for all.

We have many happy riders return year after year to the BTC, so we know that for many people the ride is well liked. We try to make improvements every year. Sometimes people notice these things. The BTC draws riders from many places. Most of these riders have done other organized rides. They compare and contrast their BTC experiences with the experience of these other rides. Some find the BTC much better.

In addition, situations beyond our control can and do happen (mudslides, snow, rain, sun, crashes, breakdowns). Sometimes hindsight shows us a better way to handle a specific situation. We have been at this for a dozen years, have made improvements, and continue to look for areas of improvement.
