Premier Delivery Service is the official BTC hotel/baggage delivery agent. PDS offers three different hotel packages: Platinum, Silver, and Bronze, available in single or double occupancy, from Saturday night, June 22, 2013 (Canon City) through Friday night, June 28, 2013(Salida) from the most expensive available hotels in each overnight stay (Platinum or Double Platinum) to the more inexpensive available hotels in each overnight stay (Bronze or Double Bronze). Each of the three packages will accommodate single occupancy (one person) or double occupancy (two people – i.e. Double Platinum -- please select the number of beds desired when choosing double occupancy) and provide baggage delivery service for one or two bags, up to thirty pounds per bag, per cyclists.

The delivery service provided by PDS includes THREE different days when cyclists in the Silver and/or Bronze packages will be shuttled. Cyclists in the Platinum packages will not be shuttled any of the days during the 2013 BTC, however the daily mileage on DAY 2, DAY 3, and DAY 4 may or may not be affected by an increase in mileage for the day or a decrease in mileage for the day depending on the town the hotel is located in.

The first shuttle will be on DAY 1 for cyclists in the Silver and Bronze packages in Buena Vista where cyclists will be shuttled to Leadville for the night and shuttled back to Buena Vista in the morning for the ride on DAY 2. This is a 35 mile shuttle ride each way and will take about one hour each way. Bicycles will not be shuttled. Bicycles will stay in Buena Vista. however, cyclist may opt to cycle to Leadville on DAY 1 and then cycle from Leadville on DAY 2 to avoid being shuttled. Bicycles will not be shuttled. The second shuttle will be on DAY 2 for cyclists in the Bronze packages in Carbondale where cyclists will be shuttled to Glenwood Springs for the night and shuttled back to Carbondale in the morning for the ride on DAY 3. This is a 15 mile shuttle ride each way and will take about thirty minutes each way. Bicycles will not be shuttled. Bicycles will stay in Carbondale. however, cyclist may opt to cycle to Glenwood Springs on DAY 2 and then cycle from Glenwood Springs on DAY 3 to avoid being shuttled. Bicycles will not be shuttled.

The third shuttle will be on DAY 3 for cyclists in the Silver and Bronze packages in Paonia where cyclists in the Silver Package will be shuttled to Delta and cyclists in the Bronze package will be shuttle to Cedaredge and then shuttled back to Paonia in the morning for the ride on DAY 4. This is a 35 mile shuttle ride each way and will take about one hour each way. Bicycles will not be shuttled. Bicycles will stay in Paonia. however, cyclist may opt to cycle either to Delta (Silver Packages) or Cedaredge (Bronze Packages) on DAY 3 and then cycle from Delta or Cedaredge on DAY 4 to avoid being shuttled. Bicycles will not be shuttled.

Self Service Hotels:
You can contact hotels directly for accommodations. If you choose this option you must pick up your bag(s) each afternoon at the overnight camping site and transport them to your hotel. In the morning you must take your bag(s) back to the camping site and load them on the baggage truck.

Bus Service
The Bicycle Tour of Colorado will have a shuttle bus service in most overnight camp towns. The BTC shuttle bus will stop at the grocery store, the entertainment, and the pool (if there is one) from the early afternoon into the evening. The route in each town will be included in your tour map book.
