The Bicycle Tour of Colorado is an annual 7 day fully supported bicycle tour in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. We provide camping areas, baggage transportation, route maps, road markings, snack and water stations every 15-30 miles, bicycle repair services, and medical support along the route.
The 2013 Ride starts and ends in Canon City with 438 miles of riding in between. We'll cross the Continental Divide at over 12,000', twice! A day off in Crested Butte gives you the opportunity for some non biking adventures or just watch the clouds build over the peaks and valleys in the afternoon.
There is no better way to see the Rocky Mountains than on your bicycle. Experience the climbs and descents for a new perspective on how tall and steep the mountains are. Cruise along rivers and streams and feel the spray of the whitewater. Stop and take pictures, or just memories, almost anywhere along the way. Spot abandoned mines, wildflowers, towering forests, wide open valleys, as you crank out the miles. Peer through the clear night sky in a small mountain town to view the stars clearer than in the big cities. Make new friends along the road, in camp, or at the nightly after ride beer garden.
Traverse the Continental Divide. Pedal under the the clearest skies in the world. Relax in the hot springs pools. A vacation, an adventure, and a challenge all rolled into one. Sign up now to join your fellow cyclists at the Bicycle Tour of Colorado for the vacation of a lifetime.
