Avoid the hassle and
risk of flying with your bike. The BTC has teamed up with High Country Shipping for coordinated bike shipping and assembly/disassembly services.
Before the Ride
High Country Shipping will ship your bike to Canon City via Fed-Ex or UPS where they will unpack your bike, assemble it, and have it ready and
waiting for you at check in when you arrive. High Country Shipping will also be delivering boxed bikes to the BTC's start for riders who wish to self-assemble.
After the Ride
High Country Shipping can have your bike disassembled and ship your bike home. At the end of the BTC, leave your bicycle at the shipping tent near the finish, and High Country will do the rest.
Bike Box Storage
High Country Shipping will store bike cases for you. If you ship your bike with them storage cost is part of their service. If you handle your own shipping and need bike box storage during the tour, the cost is $25. Just bring your empty bike box to them at the start of the tour and pick it up after the ride.
HCS will arrange for all shipping details, send shipping labels in advance, arrange for timely pick-up, monitor each shipment to insure its on-time arrival, and send e-mails both when bikes arrive in Canon City and when they are shipped home.
