First and foremost, we make every effort to have happy riders (customers) on the BTC so the negative postings are noticed.
Having said that...
Situations beyond our control can and do happen (mudslides, snow, rain, sun, crashes, breakdowns). Sometimes hindsight shows us a better way to handle a specific situation. We have been at this for a dozen years, have made improvements, and continue to look for areas of improvement.
The BTC draws riders from many places. Most of these riders have done other organized rides. They compare and contrast their BTC experiences with the experience of these other rides. Some find the BTC worse than their other rides.
And finally...
Messages of all kinds are allowed, as long as they relate to the tour and are true. We could censor out the bad, insert positives where it suits our needs, but that isn't the right thing to do.
